Horstead- Day 1

We kicked off our adventure with a warm welcome at our destination. The sense of anticipation was electric as we gathered together and were greeted by our fantastic instructors. The staff made us feel right at home, ensuring we were comfortable and ready for the day ahead. We then went off on a walk around Horstead with a picnic in the middle. The day's adventure continued with two thrilling activities. Our group was divided, and some of us took on the challenge of crate stacking. Balancing on top of stacked crates, we built towers that reached incredible heights. It was an exercise in teamwork, balance, and trust.

Meanwhile, the others honed their precision skills with archery. Learning to handle a bow and arrow, we aimed for the bullseye, cheered on by our friends. It was a fantastic way to test our focus and accuracy.

Our brains got a workout during the evening as we participated in a lively quiz. We tested our knowledge on a wide range of topics, from history to pop culture. Laughter and friendly competition filled the air as we answered questions and learned new facts. Our appetites were satisfied with a hearty and delicious meal. It was an excellent opportunity to sit down, share stories, and bond over a fantastic meal.

The day concluded with excitement and warmth. We gathered for a game of bingo, complete with prizes and lots of cheers. Afterward, we had hot chocolate, a perfect way to relax and reflect on the day's adventures.
